Description

The Well Pump is an essential Extractor in Eclipsis, designed to extract iridium from the Iridium Ocean. It must be placed on a Well Pipe and will pump iridium to its output pipe at a rate of 10 iridium per second. The production can be further increased by attaching Pressurizers to spots on a Well Pump's pump cluster, boosting production by an additional 10 iridium per second per pump.

Well Pumps are highly efficient for iridium production throughout all stages of gameplay. They are particularly valuable in Sprawl Bases, which rely heavily on multiple Well Pumps for their iridium supply. The Well Pump can be upgraded twice using a Portafab, adding functionalities such as a built-in Fabricator and a built-in Distributor.

History

• 2024-12-26 — Well Pumps have been altered to produce 10i/s natively and the third upgrade has been removed. The environment has changed with new islands, optimized structures, and the introduction of the Pressurizer.
• 2025-01-02 — Pressurizer iridium bonus per pump increased from 5ir/s to 10ir/s. Found even more pressurizer ports! Port range increased from [1, 2] to [2, 3].
• 2025-09-13 — Added alt menu display info for the pressurizer.
• 2026-03-18 — Fixed a sandbox loading error when migrating an older save to the current game version.
